Donation Policy

Acknowledgments will be sent to all donors, typically within a specified period.
4. Tax Exemption:
The NGO should provide information on tax exemption benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act in India.
5. Use of Donations:
Donations will be used as per the organization’s mission and specific programs outlined by the NGO.
Transparency in how funds are allocated and spent will be maintained.
Cancellation Policy
1. Donation Cancellation:
Monetary Donations: Once a donation has been processed, it may not be possible to cancel or reverse it. If a cancellation is requested, it should be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
In-Kind Donations: Cancellations should be communicated as soon as possible. The NGO may have specific guidelines for the return or cancellation of in-kind donations.
2. Procedure:
Requests for cancellation should be made in writing via email or formal letter.
The NGO will review the request and communicate the decision promptly.
Refund Policy
1. Refund Eligibility:
Monetary Donations: Refunds are generally not provided for donations. Exceptions may be considered in cases of error or fraud.
In-Kind Donations: Refunds or returns might be possible if the items are unused and in original condition, subject to the NGO’s policies.
2. Refund Process:
Requests for refunds should be made within a specified period after the donation or transaction.
The NGO will process refunds in accordance with its policy, which may include deducting any applicable fees.
3. Communication:
Donors will be informed about the status of their refund request and any actions taken.
Refunds will be processed through the original method of payment whenever possible.
4. Exceptions:
The NGO may have specific exceptions or conditions for refunds, which should be clearly communicated to donors.
